Frozen Music is an audiovisual performance project that sets out to re-enact the emotions brought about by travel and tell the story of a physical and symbolic journey into an imaginary metropolis.
Project description
This 1-hour long performance is to be experienced as an ‘initiatory voyage’ during which a set of seven aural and visual tableaux will transport the spectator through abstract, fast-moving landscapes, to more figurative elements taken from the cityscape, and seek to blend and exalt the metaphysical, sensory and emotional dimensions of travel.
The visual show will attempt to recreate the dynamic and rhythmic sensations procured by movement and extract the cinematic essence of travel, bringing together visual “constructions” that unwinds in the space of travel to form an architecture, with the sonic mass that unfolds in time.
